Nicholas Romeril was born in Jersey on 11 October 1967 and lives and works in Jersey. He has an BA and an MA in fine art (printing) from Camberwell College of Art and Design, London. Nicholas has undertaken numerous solo and group shows including:

2007: New Paintings. A collection of new paintings exhibited to aim fund raising for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust in association with Cazenove Capital Management. Jersey.

East West Gallery London and Studio 18 Gallery Jersey continue to represent his work.

Jersey Museum Ernst & Young, Royal Bank of Wales Royal Bank of Scotland Mourants Bedell Cristin Deloitte & Touche, Jersey La Conte & Wright Ltd, Guernsey UBS Trustees (Jersey) Volaw Voisin Work is in private collections in UK, Norway, Spain, France, Ireland, U.S.A., Canada and Hong Kong.

He has been a professional practising artist since 1987, ,c reating painting, printing, site specific art work and Verre Eglomise mirrors for exhibitions, experimentation and clients. His work is regularly shown in several different galleries through out the U.K. and drawing is central to his entire creative output. Since 1996, he has also been a lecturer at the Highlands School of Art in Jersey.
